Wearing Philosophers’ Hat – Celebrating World Philosophy Day 2020
November 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Celebrating World Philosophy Day 2020
Online event on Thursday, 19th November at 7 – 8 pm. Want to know more about philosophy and practice some thinking with others?
Often, we think of philosophy as something abstract, incomprehensible or reserved for academics. But it doesn’t need to be so. There is a social aspect of philosophy that invites us to connect with other human beings and search for deeper meaning. Not only this but doing philosophy can be fun too.
To celebrate the World Philosophy Day, a philosopher Lukasz Krzywon from Creative Together and Brid Conroy from Tertulia Bookshop are inviting members of the public for an evening of inquiry. Together we’ll embark on a journey to connect with each other and make some sense. Because of the recent restrictions this event will be held online via Zoom. This will be an engaging event, so make sure you have your microphone and camera on and be ready to think about some ridiculous and some serious stuff from the comfort of your own home.
